When & Where will the WTA Hobart International 2024 be Played?
The Hobart International 2024 will be hosted at the Hobart International Tennis Centre, also called the Domain Tennis Centre in Hobart, Tasmania. This strip of tennis courts is about a kilometer away from the city centre of Tasmania and has a capacity of 2800.
The qualifiers for this tournament will kick-start on Saturday, January 6 and be played on Sunday, January 7 as well. The main draw matches begin on Monday, January 8 and will go on till Saturday, January 13 when the singles and doubles will be played.

What Happened at the Previous WTA Hobart International?
American and qualifier Lauren Davis stunned the world by claiming the title at the 2023 Hobart International. Davis defeated Italy’s Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the final in straight sets to lift the trophy.
What was interesting to note was the fact that none of the eight seeded players made it to the semifinals, with four of them – Elise Mertens, Alize Cornet, Sloane Stephens and Magda Linette – falling in the first round itself.
This tournament was played in 1994 and has been featured every year since then except 2021 and 2022 because of the issues around the Covid-19 pandemic.
