What Happened at the Previous ATP Dallas Open?
In what turned out to be a surprising result in an exciting finale, China’s Wu Yibing became the first player from his country to carve out an ATP title win when he used up three tie-breakers to edge out John Isner. He saved four title points against Isner.
Earlier, Wu Yibing had also defeated the top seeded Taylor Fritz in the semis, coming back from being a set down to clinch a place in the final.
