When & Where will the WTA Doha 2024 be Played?

This year’s WTA Doha will be hosted at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha, Qatar. The tournament, which is in its 22nd edition, kick-starts on February 11 with its first round matches while the qualifiers will start on February 10.

What Happened at the Previous Qatar Open?

Iga Swiatek enters this year’s Qatar Open as the two-time defending champion having eased past Jessica Pegula in the final last year. It was a clash between the top and second seeds in the tournament.

The world number one crushed Pegula 6-3, 6-0 to grab the title in 2023 when it was played as a WTA 500 tournament.

Earlier, Swiatek had also dropped just one game in her semifinal demolition of Veronika Kudermetova while Pegula needed three sets to overcome Maria Sakkari.

You can officially buy the Qatar Open 2024 tickets here. The starting price of these tickets is 30 QAR for the matches to be played on the first four days of the competition between February 11 and 14.

This price increases to 80 QAR on Thursday, February 15, and 100 QAR for the remaining three days of the tournament.

The singles main draw will consist of 56 players and the competition will be hosted on outdoor hard courts. The organisers have opted to use the Dunlop Australian Open ball.
