Both women’s singles semi-finals and the first men’ semi-finals will be played today, with Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams leading the men’s and women’s action. Some of the other top players to take to court will include Naomi Osaka and American Jennifer Brady.

All the singles matches will be played at the Rod Laver Arena, starting at 2PM local time, with a highly anticipated clash between Serena Willians and Naomi Osaka.

Williams in search of the elusive 24th Grand Slam title will be high on confidence after a very convincing win against 2019 Wimbledon winner Simona Halep, where as Japanese Osaka will be looking for her second Australian Open title, coming off a very close win against Spain’s Garbine Muguruza in what may have been the match of the tournament on the women’s side thus far.

In the second semi-final Czech Karolina Muchova plays Jennifer Brady of America as both players search for their first ever major final.

Muchova has been the comeback star this tournament, none more noteworthy than that over world number one Ash Barty in the last round from a set and break down. On the other hand, Brady prevailed over her friend Jessica Pergula in three sets for a second major semi-final appearance.

The night session sees the first men’s semi-finals with world number one Novak Djokovic playing the story of the men’s draw in Russian qualifier and grand slam debutante Aslan Karatsev.

Despite an injury in week one, Djokovic has pulled off some excellent wins and starts a strong favorite for another finals spot. Karatsev has been a surprise with wins against Schwartzman, Auger- Aliassime and Dimitrov but does his dream end at the hands of the top seed?
