Barbora Krejcikova v Alycia Parks

Barbora Krejcikova got a free ticket to the quarter-final as Belinda Bencic withdrew prior to the match and that additional day off will be very good for her. She had a long week in Tallinn, a week where she ended up with the trophy but she did come to Ostrava a bit tired.

That day will allow her to enter the clash against Parks much fresher than before. It will be one hell of a clash as Parks showed a very high level of tennis against Maria Sakkari. The American was utterly aggressive hitting five times more winners than Sakkari did.

She is serving well as she had 15 aces against Kerjcikova and that will a very tough task for the Czech. She is favoured and expected to win but she will need to play really well. I do think that Krejcikova will win but the real value here is in the over.

I could see three sets but even if we only see two they will still be very close.

Tip: Over 20.5 games: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Nick Kyrgios v Taylor Fritz

A fabulous quarter-final matchup awaits us in Tokyo as Nick Kyrgios takes on Taylor Fritz. Both of them had very comfortable wins in round one but their second-round clashes were much more exciting. Fritz took on native player Moriya and he had a lot of issues after taking the first set 6-1.

The Japanese player was ultimately betrayed by his serve as it wasn’t powerful enough to keep Fritz away from break poinst in the final few games of the match. Kyrgios also dropped a set in his match but he rallied well in the next two to win it.

Both have had amazing years so far and both like playing on fast courts. Kyrgios has had a better year overall and he plays far more consistently. Fritz’s best can defeat Kyrgios so that’s something to consider as well. They played in Cincinnati this year and Kyrgios won that match easily.

I do think he will win again.

Tip: Kyrgios to win: 8/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Stefanos Tsitsipas v Hubert Hurkacz

Another thrilling match awaits us in Astana as Tsitsipas takes on Hurkacz. It’s a fabulous match between two players who have played very well so far in this event. Hurkacz has looked better and for more consistent although Tsitsipas has been very hard to break due to his serve that is firing really well this week.

It’s going to be an interesting match as their clashes usually are. Tsitsipas leads the H2H 7-2 but a lot of those matches either went to three sets or were quite close. We saw lots of tiebreaks as well and I think we will see a very similar match here.

As I said earlier, Hurkacz has looked better and far more dangerous when returning. The Greek has a big problem with returning on his backhand and several players targetted that this week. Hurkacz certainly will as well and I simply think he will do enough to squeeze out a win.

Take the Pole to win the match.

Tip: Hurkacz to win: 1/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
