Jannik Sinner v Arthur Fils

Jannik Sinner will be looking for a chance to advantage of another final as the Italian dealt with a lot of injuries that have kept him away from finding a really strong rhythm. The talent is always there but the physical side of the sport was always an issue due to his slender build.

He’s facing a very tricky opponent for a spot in the final as Arthur Fils has finally broken out on the ATP Tour. It’s been coming for a while and it’s not a surprise it came indoors and on French soil. He’s been so good this week, far better than anybody though.

He plays similarly to Sinner as they are both almost unplayable when at their best. The French player seems to be at his best but taking down Sinner will be tough. He didn’t face a player that can spank the ball as well as the Italian can so this will be tough.

They never played before but I think Sinner takes this in two. Quite risky but I think he gets it done.

Tip: Sinner to win in straight sets: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Belinda Bencic v Beatriz Haddad Maia

Beatriz Haddad Maia came back to beat Elena Rybakina but doing that to Bencic will be very tough. The Swiss player has been playing spectacular tennis so far this week and it’s been that way since the start of the year. Her coach Tursunov seems to be working his magic with her and it’s showing.

Both players can serve well and both are rather comfortable hitting the ball hard against the opponent. Bencic has a bit more defensive prowess allowing her to hit some incredible defensive shots. They played twice so far and each were able to win one match.

Haddad Maia can win this match as she did last year in Toronto but it’s going to be tough on this specific surface. I feel like it’s a bit better suited for Bencic and the way she plays. If the Brazilian can hold off Bencic with her serve it could get interesting.

Haddad Maia seems to be more stable mentally so that’s a huge plus to her as Bencic can lose the compass at times. Still, I like Bencic, she’s just been too good.

Tip: Bencic to win in straight sets: 6/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Anastasia Potapova v Marketa Vondrousova

Another banger in Linz as Potapova takes on Vondrousova. They had very different experiences in the previous round as Potapova had to endure a tough affair to advance but it showed her resilience and should give her a huge confidence boost.

Vondrousova played only a couple of games before her opponent retired from the match. They were good games but the lack of a proper match might impact her rhythm a bit. I don’t think it will be a huge problem because her game is just so disruptive.

Potapova will find it tough to a rhythm here and that’s a huge problem. She’s a very streaky player and if you don’t allow her to play herself into a rhythm it gets tough for her. Vondrousova is favoured to win and she won the two previous matches.

I do think Potapova will eventually find some good tennis and probably snatch away a set but unlikely to win the whole match. Risky play though so keep that in mind.

Tip: Vondrousova to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
