Caroline Garcia v Madison Keys

Two very similar players will battle it out in the second round in Dubai with Keys playing Garcia. Both love to attack and have a good serve. That’s the basic similarity between them and if they play their best, they’re pretty hard to beat.

Garcia seems to be far more consistent, at least in the past several months but she does share some of those inconsistent tendencies Keys has. The American is generally very hard to predict because she can go from brilliant to abysmal pretty quickly.

The H2H actually favours Keys which is a bit surprising but most of those wins came at a time when Garcia struggled with her tennis. They haven’t played since she rediscovered her magic last year. It’s been a decent start for both as Keys has an 8-2 start and Garcia has an 11-4 start.

It’s a tricky one to predict but I’ll side with Garcia simply because she played a bit better in recent months. There is really not much between them.

Tip: Garcia to win: 4/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Coco Gauff v Aliaksandra Sasnovich

Gauff and Sasnovich never played against each other but that will change in Dubai when they finally meet. It’s been an interesting year for Gauff as she opened on a high note winning a trophy in Auckland but since then it’s been kind of lacklustre overall.

Yes, she’s 9-2 on the year but last week’s loss to Kudermetova was a bad one. She turned the momentum in her favour by winning the second set but then lost the next one 1-6. Her forehand struggles are a major problem and players are exposing it every match.

Be aware that Sasnovich likely will do the same and this would have been an upset potentially if she were in better form. She hasn’t played close to her best this year with only a 3-5 record so far but the win over Masarova in round one was respectable.

I could see Gauff having some minor issues but that’s not unusual for her. She’ll still likely win in two sets and that’s what we recommend.

Tip: Rybakina to win in straight sets: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Iga Swiatek v Leylah Fernandez

A US Open champion takes on a former US Open finalist and it’s not looking very promising for the finalist. Leylah Fernandez is trying her best to get back to her best days but the Canadian is unable to find a really good momentum. She plays one good match and then a bad one and that’s how it’s been since the start of this year.

Swiatek was similar but she found herself in Doha last week losing only five games in three matches and winning the trophy. She’s in superb form and many expect her to roll past Fernandez with ease. While it’s likely there are some things to remember.

Fernandez is a superb aggressive player and she can create a lot of trouble if her forehand is firing. It hasn’t in a long time but the possibility is always there. Their only clash came last year in Adelaide and it was an easy win for the Polish player.

Can she do it again? Certainly and we think there is very good value in trying it.

Tip: Under 18.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
