Roberto Bautista Agut v Vasek Pospisil Head to Head
This will be the fourth time that Bautista-Agut and Pospisil will face each other in a competitive match. But their last meeting was back in 2015 so it will be the first time they will face each other in a while. The Spaniard has all three matches so far.

The 32-year-old has been playing some really good tennis in the last couple of weeks. He reached the semi-finals at Cincinnati last week and only lost to the eventual champion Novak Djokovic but not before taking a set off him and taking him to a tie break in the final set.
This week he started his campaign in an impressive fashion by winning his first-round match against Tennys Sandgren in straight sets. In the second round, he was up against Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia and despite dropping a set, the Spaniard was impressive throughout the match.
Despite having nine titles in his career, Bautista Agut has never gone beyond the fourth round of a Grand Slam. On current form, he will back himself to finally end that streak. Although it will be a tall order for him because if he wins his next match, he could be up against the second seed Dominic Thiem in the round of 16.

Pospisil Pulls off Huge Upset
No one expected the Pospisil to have any chance against fellow countryman Milos Raonic in the second round. Raonic was looking back to his best and had just reached the final of the Cincinnati Masters a few days ago.
He had also broken into the top 20 rankings once again and it should have been a straight forward win for him. But Pospisil pulled off a brilliant upset and got the better of Raonic in four sets.
The performance was reminiscent to the form Pospisil showed earlier in the year when he reached the final at Montepellier and had beaten multiple higher-ranked opponents in the tournament. And the Canadian would be glad that his tennis is making the headlines now rather than issues off the field. He stroked a controversy after backing a breakaway player’s union and resigning as a player representative from the ATP Council.
He has already bettered his best-ever showing at Flushing Meadows by reaching the third round. Now he will be hoping to continue his excellent run and beat another high profile name.
Roberto Bautista Agut v Vasek Pospisil Prediction & Tip
Bautista Agut starts as a clear favourite here, just like Raonic did against Pospisil in the second round. The Spaniard is playing some solid and error-free tennis at the moment. Unless he has an off day on the day, the Canadian should find it tough to beat him.
