What Happened at the Previous ATP Rio Open?
It looked like Carlos Alcaraz was on his way to winning his second ATP title in as many weeks when he made the final in this tournament here too following his solid performance at the Argentina Open the previous week. Cameron Norrie had other ideas.
The Brit came back from a set down to defeat Alcaraz in three sets and clinch the title.
Alcaraz had earlier been tested and taken to three sets by Fabio Fognini and Nicolas Jarry while Norrie had similar issues with Hugo Dellien and Bernabe Zapata Miralles.
