Federer Looking To Capitalize on Quick Opener
World number three Roger Federer is a seven-time Cincinnati champion, which is the most titles won by anyone at the venue.
The Swiss got off to a rapid start in his opener, defeating young Argentine Juan Ignacio Londero in straight sets in about an hour. Federer was off the blocks in quick fashion, breaking his opponent early in both sets and then serving strong throughout to keep a stronghold on the match.
Federer returns to Cincinnati playing his first tournament after the epic Wimbledon final to Novak Djokovic, which he lost in a final set tiebreak after having two championship points on his serve.
The courts at Cincinnati are playing faster this year and the Swiss is excited about it as the faster courts have always suited his playing style.

Hard hitting Russian Andrey Rublev had a breakthrough year in 2017, winning his first ATP title at the Croatia Open, qualifying for the US Open quarter-finals and being a finalist at the Next Generation ATP finals in Milan.
Rublev reached a career-high ranking of 31 in early 2018. However, a back injury saw him out of action for most of 2018 and his return to the tour has been challenging.
Rublev is currently ranked number 70th in the world on the ATP circuit.
The Russian, in the last month has increasingly looked like being back to his old self and was a losing finalist at the Hamburg Open last month,losing to Nikoloz Basilashvili.

This promises to be an exciting match between these two players who have never met before. After a good week at Hamburg last month, Rublev has again looked strong this week with two convincing wins.
