Alison Riske v Karolina Muchova Head to Head
The two ladies met earlier this year in the Libema Open where Riske sailed to the victory in three sets. Muchova took the first set and forced the American to stage a comeback.

Karolina Muchova, the 23-year-old Czech, has had a pretty impressive run this year with two singles final in the Prague Open and Korea Open. After settling for the runner-up trophy in the first case, she moved on to clinch her first singles title in Seoul, defeating Magda Linette in the final with 6-1, 6-1.
With a win-loss tally of 36-13, she has been absolutely clinical and of late, has been in a rather brilliant form. Just last week in the Kremlin Cup, she made it to the semifinal after defeating the likes of Donna Vekic and Ekaterina Alexandrova. Muchova also had a scintillating run in the Wimbledon, where she reached the quarterfinal after knocking out Karolina Pliskova.
With these kinds of runs testifying to her capabilities, the Czech certainly holds a definite threat to the other players on the tour. The next season will be crucial for development further and it wouldn’t be surprising if she soon finds herself in the top 20.

Alison Riske, currently ranked World No. 19, has had quite a run this year. From getting married to reaching her career-best ranking, it has been a season of positives for the American.
She has made it to three singles final this season, going the distance in one of them – the Libema Open. As for the other two in the Shenzhen Open and Wuhan Open, she settled for the runner-up trophies after losing to Aryna Sabalenka on both the occasions. However, Riske particularly had a brilliant time in Wuhan, where she moved past some big names like Elina Svitolina and Petra Kvitova.
