Gael Monfils v Filip Krajinovic Head to Head
This is the second meeting between both players. Their only meeting was at the Miami Masters in 2015, which was won by Monfils in a final set.
In-Form Monfils Strong Favorite For Title
Two-time Montpellier title winner Gael Monfils has been in convincing form in search of a third title this week.
Monfils arrived at Montpellier as the top seed after a decent start to the season, where he made the round of 16 at the Australian Open, before he was defeated by runner-up Dominic Thiem in straight sets.
After a first round bye, Monfils had a challenging second round match against countryman Adrian Mannarino, where the top seed came back form a set down to clinch in three sets.
He followed it with a straight sets clinical win against Slovakian Nerbert Gombos in the quarter-finals.
With the number three and four seeds, Grigor Dimitrov and Denis Shapovalov out of the tournament, Monfils has been hopeful that a leaner draw will bode well for a deep run here this week.
His semi-final opponent is Serbian Filip Krajinovic.

Serbian Filip Krajinovic has been a force to reckon with on the indoor hard courts, evidenced no better than his run to the finals of the Masters 1000 in Paris in 2017.
