Fritz now starts the Australian Open with one eye glued on reaching the second week. He has made the third round in each of the two previous editions and stumbled upon facing Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem. This year he is projected to reach the third round again, and will have the unenviable task of potentially meeting Novak Djokovic, the eight-times winner.

Ramos Vinolas Retains Top 50 Ranking
”I would like that they remember me as a player who fights a lot and he’s doing his best on the court,” Albert Ramos Vinolas perfectly sums up the typical type of a tennis career he wants fans to remember of him.
The Spaniard has certainly earned the respect from his fellow contemporaries. With six top 10 wins, two career tour-level titles and a career-high ranking of world no.17 attained during a decade-long career, the 33-year-old has achieved some significant milestones in his careers.

Ramos Vinolas has retained a top 50 ranking for the past two years after momentarily dropping out of it for a considerable amount of time due to injuries and a handful of slapdash performances. His record in 2020, however, reeks of appalling form, particularly in the second half of last season.
He recorded two match wins following tennis’ hiatus last August.
