Cameron Norrie v Dominik Koepfer Head to Head
These two players haven’t featured in a match at the highest level but have had a couple of matches on the Challenger circuit and in the Futures. In their first meeting in 2016, Koepfer won in three sets, before Norrie extracted his revenge in their next meeting in 2017.

Norrie is a talented tennis player but the one thing missing from his game has been consistency. Till now that is.
Because in 2021, Norrie has dished out one of his most consistent starts to the season, having registered solid wins and gone deep enough in difficult tournaments to be reckoned as one of the players to watch out.
Take the example of his previous round encounter here in Acapulco as well. The Brit was up against Fabio Fognini, who might not have been at the peak of his prowess but was still showing signs of returning back to his best form.
And yet, Norrie carved out a 6-4, 6-3 victory to seal his quarterfinal berth.
This came close on the heels of a straight-set win for Norrie against Stefan Kozlov in the first round and after he had made the semifinal in Delray Beach and the third round of the Australian Open.
Now, Norrie has a very good chance of entering the last four given he has been blessed with an easy draw but he would do well to not get complacent.

Koepfer Stunner for Raonic
The world number Milos Raonic was a huge favourite going into his second round match against Koepfer but the encounter turned out the way not too many would have expected.
Raonic struggled with his serve, getting only 57% of his first serves in and won just 59% of those points, which meant Koepfer got himself multiple chances to break the Canadian serve. And he did that with aplomb, breaking his high quality opponent four times in the match.
What made the win even more special was Koepfer himself was exposed to just two break-points and lost his serve just once – it came in the first set when Raonic broke him to lead 4-2. Unfortunately for Raonic, things only went downhill from there on with Koepfer winning four games in a row to seal the set before breaking his opponent twice in the second set as well to win the match.
