But it’s been a bit of roller-coaster ride since then. However, she will be pretty happy with her Round of 16 finish at Roland Garros, and overjoyed with her silver at the Olympics.
She will be looking to make quick work of her opponent on Monday and start the tournament in well.

Gleason Will be A Rank Outsider
America’s Quinn Gleason stunned Anastasia Potapova in the first qualifying round, defeating the Russian 6-1, 2-6, 6-3.
Continuing from where she left on Saturday, the World No. 467 defeated Japan’s Makoto Ninomiya 6-3, 6-1 in the second qualifying round on Sunday to enter the main draw of the tournament.
A winner of one ITF title, the 26-year-old has struggled to win matches this season and a 3-7 record at all levels before the start of the qualifying rounds in Chicago is a reflection of just that.
Gleason has won just one first round match this season (at Charleston-2 ITF tournament in June). She has either failed to qualify or fallen in the first rounds of all the other tournaments.
