Barbora Krejcikova v Caroline Garcia Head to Head
This will be their fourth meeting on the WTA Tour; the second one this season. Krecjikova leads 2-1 and has won their last two matches. They last met in the Sydney International this season where the Czech prevailed 6-0, 6-2.

Garcia, Still Struggling with Form
A semifinalist here in 2016, Caroline Garcia will hope to tap into some of that glorious spirit over the week in Dubai. However, it is going to be quite difficult since the Frenchwoman’s form has gone down sharply since then.
She is 1-3 this season with opening-round exits in the Melbourne 2 and its Slam version. Garcia did reach the quarters in Sydney but that was only due to a second-round walkover against Elena Rybakina.
The World No. 69 hasn’t made it to a singles final since 2019. In fact, most of her last season is dotted with these early defeats – something that has barred Garcia from really stepping up.

Krejcikova’s defeat here would be considered upset of the tournament and while Garcia is experienced enough to deliver, she simply lacks the form.
