Serbian tennis player, Miomir Kecmanovic has broken new ground in the ATP Tour this year. He is walking into almost every match as a favourite and is now sitting on his best ranking ever as world number 31.

The 22 year old is 25-11 this year and 13-7 on clay. He reached the 4th round in the Australian Open in January and then reached back to back quarterfinals in the Indian Wells and Miami Masters. On clay, he reached the semifinal in Munich recently and quarterfinal in Belgrade.

Miomir Kecmanovic has worked  a lot on his serve. Prior to this year, he had a very inconsistent serve and was prone to being broken under the slightest of pressure. He now has a big heavy serve to complement his storng forehand and very technically adept backhand.

Kecmanovic’s best results in Paris have come in 2019 and 2021 reaching the second round only. Currently seeded as 28, the Serbian will fancy himself to make a deep run similar to his Masters event performances.

He has established himself as a top player and will be eager to make the headlines in Paris.
