Federico Delbonis v Adrian Mannarino Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between them with both players having won one apiece. Delbonis won their more recent match-up that came in Monte-Carlo last year, defeating Mannarino 7-5, 6-1 to make it to the second round.

While clay is Delbonis’ favourite surface, his returns on it this season have been anything but inspiring. In fact since reaching the semifinal of the Buenos Aires Open in early parts of February this year, Delbonis has won a grand total of three matches on the tour while losing 10.
Eight of these defeats have come on clay and in six of those occasions Delbonis has been knocked out of the tournament in the first round itself.
Coming into this year’s French Open, Delbonis had finally managed to stall a four-match losing streak at Geneva but followed that win up with a three-set defeat at the hands of Thanasi Kokkinakis.
What Delbonis would hope to draw an inspiration from is his performance from last year’s French Open. The Argentine had displayed his best showing at Roland Garros, clinching a fourth round spot there.

Mannarino 1-15 on Clay Since 2020
When Mannarino clinched a straight-set win over Aslan Karatsev in the first round at Lyon, it was his first victory on clay in 15 attempts.
We are not talking about tournament wins, but match victories here.
Yep, so wretched has Mannarino’s form on clay been it was probably one of the biggest shocks of the season to see him overcome Karatsev in that opener. What followed was the usual – a loss at the hands of Holger Rune.
And now here is Mannarino attempting to win only his second match at French Open since the 2017 edition.
Against a struggling Delbonis he might have a chance but only a minor one.
