Aryna Sabalenka v Madison Brengle Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these two players both of which came in hard court competitions. Sabalenka defeated Brengle in both those opening round matches.

Sabalenka was ranked second in the world at the start of this season but has fallen to seventh coming into this year’s French Open. And that is no surprise given the aura around her tennis has taken a bit of a hit this year.
Because for a world number two to enter the season’s second Grand Slam on a 13-11 win-loss record is definitely a cause for concern.
The Belarusian player did make it to the final at Stuttgart earlier – her only appearance in a title-decider this season – but that was an exception to the norm. The norm this season has been her inability to string together successive wins.
Which is also why it might have come across as a huge surprise to a lot of fans when Sabalenka, who started out as a 1/25 overwhelming favourite in her opener against Chloe Paquet, was stretched to a third set.
Sabalenka won 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the end but not before she was left with more questions to answer.

Brengle Brushes Aside Buzarnescu
In a match lasting a mere hour and 15 minutes, Brengle dismissed Mihaela Buzarnescu to not only seal her second round berth but also give herself the confidence she can handle the struggling Sabalenka.
Brengle won 6-1, 6-2 as she dominated her opponent from the word go and in every possible way. With a first serve percentage of 73% and winning 69% of the points on the first serve, Brengle outdid Buzarnescu in double quick time.
Sure, the American was broken in the first game of the second set to give Buzarnescu a bit of a hope but that was the only time Brengle showed any vulnerability in the encounter.
A break back in the very next game paved the way to an easy victory and a good chance to take on the world number seven.
Sabalenka v Brengle Prediction and Tip
Sabalenka might be 1/5 to win this but we don’t think it will be as easy as that for the Belarusian player. Another tough battle could be in the offing with Brengle expected to win at least a set.
