World No. 61 Camila Osorio is off to a slow start in the grass swing but has got some time in her hands to turn it around ahead of the Wimbledon.
Playing in Nottingham last week, the 20-year-old Colombian was schooled by the top seed Maria Sakkari in the opener with a humbling loss of 2-6, 3-6. That said, Osorio has proven in the past that she can play on the green courts – it is just a matter of time for her to get used to the shift in momentum.
Her best Grand Slam result came at SW19 last year when she reached the third round as a qualifier; that was also her best showing in a major.
Camila has come a long way since; this year she reached the final in Monterrey and the semifinal in Bogota. Over the season, she has also posted wins over the likes of Elina Svitolina and Nuria Parrizas Diaz.

Dart, Rallying on Home Support
Local favourite Harriet Dart has had a pretty disappointing season so far as she fell in the early rounds in almost every tournament on the tour. The exception to this is the Indian Wells Open where she had a round-of-16 cameo as a qualifier.
It was at least the case until she arrived in England for the grass swing. She too started her journey in Nottingham and unlike Osorio, the 25-year-old made it to the quarterfinal after upsetting the well-known names like Donna Vekic and Camila Giorgi. She fell to the eventual finalist Alison Riske.
Nonetheless, Dart posted some of her best singles result in the process and will hope to carry that form forward.
However, it is likely to be a Herculean challenge for the World No. 114; should she overcome Osorio, she will most likely play Simona Halep next.
Dart v Osorio Prediction and Tip
Osorio is the favourite on paper but Dart is capable of surprises. Backing her wouldn’t be the worst bet to make, given the odds she has been placed at. However, on the safer side, Osorio should win this one.
