Ons Jabeur v Caroline Garcia

Ons Jabeur will have a chance to secure a 2nd grand slam final this year as the Tunisian played in the Wimbledon final earlier this year.

She only needs to beat Caroline Garcia, a player that is pretty much unbeatable in the past few weeks. The streak of the French player is only beaten by the epic one of Swiatek earlier this year.

Garcia herself looks very comfortable in New York and is not bothered by the entire stadium being against her. She remained really cool against Coco Gauff beating her in straight sets. It’s a fascinating matchup because both of them are really strong tennis players.

They play very attractive tennis as well making it simply a match you should not miss. They played twice in the past and Jabeur is leading 2-0. Both of those matches were played on hard courts and both were comfortable wins for Jabeur.

They did come at a time when Garcia wasn’t playing that well so taking them as any indication is not a good idea.

I think this will be very competitive. The track record is on the side of Jabeur and she might just have enough to get it done.

Tip: Jabeur to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Iga Swiatek v Aryna Sabalenka

Iga Swiatek and Aryna Sabalenka will both try to reach the final at the US Open. Neither of them looked superbly great at this event and both showed they can be beaten. It should make this matchup a great one because if this was played months ago, it would be an easy win for Swiatek.

That is what happened in the three matches they played this year. The first one came in Doha and Swiatek won 6-2 6-3. The 2nd one came in Stuttgart on clay and Swiatek won 6-2 6-2. That was actually a final. The latest one came in Rome and Swiatek won 6-2 6-1 so she clearly dominated the matchup easily.

It won’t be as easy this time around because Sabalenka is playing some of the best tennis she has played this year. The serve is looking a bit better and that was a major weakness earlier this year. Swiatek is still not totally comfortable with the balls used at the US Open but she looks miles ahead than where she was just two weeks ago.

Even so, I do think the Polish player is more stable and she will probably win in three sets.

Tip: Swiatek to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Melichar-Martinez/Perez v Krejcikova/Siniakova

One of the best doubles pairing in the world is back to playing superb doubles tennis as Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova are in the semi-finals with a chance to go to the final. They played some amazing tennis to get to this stage but they did drop a couple of sets along the way.

Their opponents were quite similar in the way that they reached the semi-final. Some great wins but also some dropped sets that complicated matters. These pairings played each other twice in the past and both happened this year.

Wimbledon hosted the first match with Krejcikova and Siniakova winning that one in three sets. Cincinnati recently hosted the second one and Melichar-Martinez/Perez won that one in two easy sets. I think this will be a close one, probably in three sets.

When it comes to the winners, I have to back the Czech players as they usually show up when it matters most. This is the only grand slam they are missing so I think motivation will be high.

Tip: Krejcikova/Siniakova to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
