Alexander Bublik v Emil Ruusuvuori Head to Head
There have been two previous meetings between these two players and Ruusuvuori has won both of them in straight sets.

Bublik needed a third set tie-breaker and over two and a half overs to prevail upon Furness and grab a place in the last 16.
In a match in which both players were broken five times, it was Bublik’s better serving in the second and third set that helped him claim a 5-7, 6-4, 7-6 (5) win.
From winning 18 of his 24 first serve points in the first set, Bublik improved drastically in the second as he lost just two points on his first serve there. And while it was back down to 18 from 25 in the final, he held his nerve on the important moments to claim the win.

Ruusuvuori Eases Past Lehecka
It hasn’t been the best last few months for Ruusuvuori who has been struggling to get a move on but with no rhythm to his game. And that has shown in his results, with Ruusuvuori having won just seven and lost nine of his matches in the last three months.
Which is why the straight-set win he earned over Jiri Lehecka is what he desperately needed, giving him some respite coming into this second round match.
Ruusuvuori won 6-4, 6-4 in an hour and 31 minutes, as he kick-started with an exchange of serve breaks in the first set before wrapping it up with a break in the ninth game.
Another break of serve in the third game of the second set is all that he needed before winning it off his third match-point.
