Hubert Hurkacz v Alexander Bublik Head to Head

A semifinalist in his last tournament in Metz, the Pole served 11 aces and won 80% points on his first serve to beat the Argentine 6-2, 7-6 (7-2). The seventh seed saved the only break point that he faced and converted 2 of 4 to ease into the next round.
The Polish player is now 36-17 for the season and he will be eying an eighth quarterfinal of the season.

Bublik Knocks Out Griekspoor in Three
Alexander Bublik advanced to the next round in Astana with a three-set win over Tallon Griekspoor.
The Kazakh was off to a great start, bagelling the Dutchman in the first set. Griekspoor fought back by getting the solitary break of the second, but Bublik began dominating again in the third.
He raced to a 5-1 lead before the Dutch player got one break back, but he couldn’t get the other break back, as the Kazakh won 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 in an hour and 38 minutes.
The World no. 43, who won his maiden title in Montpelier this year, is 29-23 this season.
He also reached two other finals this year, finishing runner-up in Newport and Metz.
