Otte Double Finalist in Sofia

Two weeks ago Otte reached his first ATP final, in the doubles in Sofia, with compatriot Fabian Falleri, although they had to settle for the runners-up cheque on that occasion.

Singles-wise, he has yet to emulate his achievements on the Challenger tour, where he has won five tournaments, three of them last year.

However, his season has not been without its highlights, including back to back semi-finals in Stuttgart and Halle, and a third round appearance at Wimbledon.

He was beaten in the first round in Astana, but did slightly better last week in Florence, where he overcame Marton Fucsovics before losing to the number one seed, Felix Augur-Aliassime, but not before taking the Canadian to three sets.

Ymer Overshadowed by Younger Brother

.Ymer will have fond memories of this tournament from six years ago, because it was then, together with his brother Mikael, that they won the doubles title here, the only senior tournament either has won.

Since then, it has been his younger sibling who tends to get most of the headlines. although Elias has enjoyed a comparatively good year and, after several years of stagnation, is on the rise up the rankings again, boosted by reaching the final of a Challenger tournament on clay in June in Italy.

Qualifying has proved to be a major obstacle for him on the main tour, but he has been spared such rigours in Sweden, where he has been given a wildcard.

Otte v Ymer Prediction and Tip

Despite playing in front of his home crowd, with all the benefits that come with it, Ymer will start the underdog against a man who has become a reliable performer on the main tour.

Tip: Otte to win: 5/9 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
