Iga Swiatek v Martina Trevisan Head to Head

Trevisan Far From Convincing
Italy progressed safely into the Host City Finals, but Martina Trevisan has looked shaky so far. The top-ranked woman was thrashed 6-2 6-0 by Brazil’s Beatriz Haddad Maia in Italy’s opening tie.
Although her teammates bailed her out, Trevisan is unlikely to cause any hindrance to Poland’s No. 1 Iga Swiatek. The last time they battled at the French Open, Swiatek only dropped three games and we reckon things might be even worse for the 29-year-old considering the abundance of power Swiatek has at her disposal.
Trevisan won her other singles match, but only by a whisker, beating Norway’s World No. 321 Malene Helgo in three tense sets. Her game just doesn’t function effectively on quicker courts, and unsurprisingly owns a negative win-loss record on hard courts at a pro level.
