Roberto Bautista Agut v Sebastian Korda

These players had two very good wins in round one of the event to set up this round two clash. Roberto Bautista Agut proved a true warrior by wiggling out of a tough spot against Andrey Rublev. He was down a set and a break but battled back to win it in three.

Sebastian Korda had a far easier time overall as he dealt with Andy Murray but it took a decent level to get it done. This matchup oddly favoured Sebastian Korda more in the past as he’s 2-0 against Bautista Agut. In these conditions, it should favour Korda once more but don’t expect the Spaniard to go away easily.

I do think this will be close but I do think Korda will have enough to win. He looks very comfortable in Australia and his serve could be the crucial key. There is a chance that this match goes to three sets but I think it’s likelier that he wins in straight sets.

Tip: Korda to win: 8/11 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Ons Jabeur v Sorana Cirstea

Ons Jabeur takes on Sorana Cirstea in an interesting matchup that didn’t favour the Tunisian player in the past. Cirstea won two out of three matches they played so far however they were played almost a decade ago. The most recent one was last year was won by Jabeur easily.

She’s been in quite a good form to start the year beating Raducanu in Abu Dhabi. This being her first match in Australia might see her struggle a bit but I do think she’ll have enough to win the match. Cirstea was excellent against Golubic but this is another beast.

A lot will depend on the rhythm of Jabeur. If she comes out with a poor performance then Cirstea will beat her. If she comes out with a good level she might struggle for a while but sooner or later she’ll establish herself as the better player and win the match. We do think some struggles might push the over.

Tip: Over 20.5 games in the match: 19/20 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Novak Djokovic v Quentin Halys

Novak Djokovic won the previous match he played against Halys quite easily but it was a long time ago iwth the French player improving quite a bit since then. The crucial thing for this will be the serve of Halys as Djokovic will return well.

Will the French player be able to serve at a very high level for a long period of time is the question. It’s the only way he can stay in this match however it seems unlikely. Djokovic demonstrated a pretty good level in the first round so I do think we’ll see an even better one here.

There is very little Halys can do in rallies but if his serve is working then he might push Djokovic to a tiebreak. That’s where his chance will be. A few lucky shots could win him that but as said before it’s very unlikely. He could push the over on games though and we do recommend that option even though it’s risky.

Tip: Over 18.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
