Maria Sakkari v Martina Trevisan Head to Head
Their only previous match came at the 2020 French Open where Trevisan won in three sets on her way to the quarterfinal.

Sakkari hasn’t the best of opponents against her so far in the tournament, with Elise Mertens’ 29th-rank being the highest-ranked player against her.
That said, she can only do so much in terms of the opposition and as far as the results are concerned, Sakkari has not only won all her matches but also done that in style.
The Greek number one is yet to drop a set, and the closest she came to be tested was in the second set by Mertens who scooped up five games off her.
In her most recent outing, Sakkari crushed Petra Martic 6-3, 6-3 in an hour and 40 minutes, having lost her serve just once. That came early in the match and after she had herself broken Martic.
From that point onward, Sakkari broke Martic three more times to complete the rout.

Trevisan Struggling But Italy Makes the Semifinal
It would be fair to say that Trevisan has been out of her depth in this competition so far despite her team having made it this far.
In fact, Italy have managed to scrape through to the semifinals despite losing their Host City Finals tie because they managed to win more sets than the next best team.
And Trevisan’s poor form hasn’t helped.
She started off with a 6-2, 6-0 defeat at the hands of Beatriz Haddad Maia and fell 6-2, 6-4 in the City Finals to Iga Swiatek. The only win Trevisan has managed to garner came against Malene Helgo, a Norwegian whose career-best ranking is 319th.
Now facing the in-form Sakkari, the clay court specialist Trevisan might not get a lot of gifts in the form of unforced errors.
