The number one seed Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece will face the third seed David Goffin of Belgium in the semi-final of the ATP Marseille Open on Saturday, February 23. The match is scheduled to begin at 5.20 pm local time (4.20 pm BST).

Stefanos Tsitsipas v David Goffin Head to Head
The two men have met four times before, and honours are so far even. Tsitsipas won their first encounter at the European Open in 2017, but Goffin enjoyed two out of three victories last year. He beat the Greek on the clay of Monaco, and in Cincinnati, with a Tsitsipas win in Washington sandwiched in between.
Tsitsipas – Looking for First Title of 2019
The number one seed will believe that he has an excellent chance to win the title if he can get past Goffin on Saturday. He will be aware that he is in the top half of the draw in Marseille which, as it has transpired, has turned out to be much tougher than the bottom half.
Should he get through his semi-final he will face either lucky loser Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan or wild card Ugo Humbert in the final. Knowing that, barring unforeseen circumstances he should beat either, his match on Saturday is virtually a final from him.
Goffin, Gaining Momentum Through the Tournament
Goffin began the week short of confidence, but successive victories against home town players Benoît Paire, and then Gilles Simon, something of a Marseille-specialist in their quarter-final on Friday will have done him a world of good, and helped to build self-belief.
Now he is facing Tsitsipas, a man against whom he has a good record, and who he beat last time out. And, just like his Greek opponent, he will know if he gets through this match, he will have an excellent chance of clinching the title.
Tsitsipas v Goffin Predictions & Tips
Tsitsipas will start slight favourite because of his higher seeding and world rankings. However, in terms of head to head record, the pair are very evenly matched, so it may come down to who plays better on the night. Expecting a three-setter here.
