Daniil Medvedev v Botic van de Zandschulp

Daniil Medvedev had not an easy start in Rotterdam but the Russian was able to pull through and set up this very tricky round two clash. van de Zandschulp is a native player who can thrive in these conditions where his serve is a major weapon.

He will be surely motivated to put on a good show but he had some issues of his own in his match and barely pulled through. This is a match where Medvedev will need to be careful. He played the Dutch player three times so far and won every match.

Two of those were last year and he won both without dropping a single set. Medvedev is the better player indoors becuase it’s so hard to win a point against him. The hope is to make him miss a lot but that’s very tough to achieve.

Botic could do it but I don’t think he will as I expected Medvedev to win this comfortably. He’s just played far better this year even if not close to his best.

Tip: Under 21.5 games in the match: 5/6 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Stefanos Tsitsipas v Jannik Sinner

Both Stefanos Tsitsipas and Jannik Sinner did well in their first matches in Rotterdam and for Sinner it’s been a continuation as he did really well in Montpellier last week winning the trophy. Tsitsipas didn’t play but he’s played every year and Rotterdam and is a finalist last year.

Both should be really good in this matchup however the H2H favours Tsitsipas heavily. He won five of the six matches they played with Sinner winning only once on clay. Both like to play aggresive but it’s a bit different. Tsitsipas is more tactical while Sinner enjoys to brute force it quickly.

The serve is fairly on the side of Tsitsipas and I feel that might be the deciding factor here. He has the better and more consistent serve that should give him more free points in the match.

I feel that wil lbe enough to take him over the top and Sinner might feel some fatigue especially should the match go to three sets. It’s possible but we’ll back Tsitsipas to win.

Tip: Tsitsipas to win: 1/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Diego Schwartzman v Berbabe Zapata Miralles

Diego Schwartzman has not had a very good time so far this year and it’s been part of a prolongued struggle with his form. The Argentine will hope a return to his hometown will finally get him going. His stay in Cordoba was short but it’s an event where he struggled traditionally.

He has been good in Buenos Aires even winning the event so he should do a bit better. The opponetn is a vry tough one, one that can beat you if you give him the chance but he’s coming into this one after a long match and close win over Pedro Martinez.

It remains to be seen whether he’ll feel some effects from that match but even if he doesn’t Schwartzman should have a decent chance. Zapata Miralles is notorious for his up and down game which should make things easier for Schwartzman.

They never played before so it will be a challenge in that regard but we think that Schwartzman will be able to win the match.

Tip: Schwartzman to win: 3/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
