The third round action at the 2023 French Open kick-starts on Friday, June 2 with some of the best tennis players taking to court for their matches. Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Aryna Sabalenka will all be playing today and below are the latest predictions and tips for the day’s play.

Action at the Phillipe-Chatrier Court will begin at 11.45 am local time with American player Jessica Pegula facing Elise Mertens for a place in the fourth round. Following those two will be the world number two Aryna Sabalenka who plays against Kamilla Rakhimova in her round of 32 clash.

Novak Djokovic will look to continue with his solid run so far as he takes on Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina before the action on this court will be rounded off by the world number one Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz faces Denis Shapovalov in his third round match.

Over at the Suzanne-Lenglen Court, Daria Kasatkina will have a chance to end Peyton Stearns’ run but we don’t think it will be that easy for the Russian. Andrey Rublev will then take on Lorenzo Sonego in another match that could see things get close.

Sloane Stephens will then hope she can continue with her consistent run when she faces Yulia Putintseva while Stefanos Tsitsipas will then take on Diego Schwartzman in what could turn out to be an interesting match-up.

Karen Khachanov, Cameron Norrie and Elina Svitolina will be some of the players taking to court at the Simone-Matthieu Stadium while Anastasia Potapova and Hubert Hurkacz will also have a chance to enter the fourth round today.
