Jiri Lehecka v Mitchell Krueger Head to Head

With a career-best ranking of 33rd in the world earlier this year, Lehecka hasn’t quite been able to live up to that in recent times but he still continues to remain in the top 35 of the rankings.
Having said that, what he would like to do is to shrug off his recent results and try and go deeper into this tournament.
Lehecka looked to have discovered his mojo when he followed up his quarterfinal appearance at the Australian Open with a fourth round showing at Wimbledon. What followed was a fitness concern for him in that match, forcing him to retire from it.
Since his return, however, Lehecka has won just two of his matches which includes a second round exit at the Canadian Masters and a first round loss in Cincinnati. The only mitigating factor is that in both those matches he was up against a top-10 player and against someone ranked 275th, those defeats shouldn’t matter too much.

Krueger Makes Kotov Pay
Despite starting out a 6/5 underdog with bet365 in his opener against Pavel Kotov, Krueger continued to run amok in the Winston-Salem Open as he registered his third successive straight-set win.
Krueger, who had dropped six and five games respectively in the qualifiers leading up to this opening round encounter, carved out a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Kotov in a match lasting an hour and 16 minutes.
With a mere seven points lost off his first serve and even more vitally only eight off his second, Krueger saved both the break-points he faced in the encounter. In turn he converted two of the three chances he got to break his opponent to clinch his win.
In doing so, Krueger registered only his eighth career main draw win at the highest level, six of which have come in hardcourt competitions.
