Sebastian Korda v Marton Fucsovics Head to Head
Korda and Fucsovics have never faced off in a competitive match before this.

While form hasn’t been on Korda’s side for most part of the season, he did not take too long to get past Benjamin Bonzi in the second round in Winston-Salem.
Korda, who had come into the tournament on the back of just one win from his previous six matches, needed just 69 minutes to come away a winner and make it to the third round. He grabbed a 6-2, 6-3 win.
While Korda did face four break-points in the encounter, he saved them all even as he slammed 13 aces and broke his opponent four times in it.
With fitness having played a part in his recent tournaments, a win of this nature could signal Korda’s return to full fitness and that gives him a good chance to do it one more time. The last time Korda won successive matches though was at the Queen’s Club competition where he reached the semifinal.

Fucsovics Has No Trouble Against Zhang
Much like Korda, Fucsovics did not have a lot of trouble either, sealing off his third round as he overcame Zhizhen Zhang in straight sets to march on.
In a match lasting a shade under an hour and a half, Fucsovics was a 6-4, 6-2 winner over his Chinese opponent. And this was despite getting just 57% of his first serves in.
Fucosvics was forced to rely on his craftiness to wear his opponent down as he broke Zhang three times while saving both the break-points he faced on his serve. A break of serve in the fifth game of the first set was all that he needed and the only time he faced some trouble was in the 10th game when he served for the set.
In the second, Fucsovics saved an early break-point before taking a 3-1 lead. Another break of serve followed soon after before he served to love to clinch it.
Korda will prove to be a different kettle of fish but Fucsovics does have the game to trouble him despite starting out a 13/10 (bet365) underdog here.
