The Swiss number one faced just one break-point in the entire match – losing her serve after she had already broken Miyakazi twice in the second set – but that was a minor blip in a sea of excellent tennis.

Zhu Stuns Azarenka
Victoria Azarenka had defeated Zhu earlier in this season, having come back from a set down to end the Chinese player’s run at the Australian Open.
This time around there were no such comebacks from Azarenka as Zhu registered a straight-set win over the Belarusian number two.
In a match that lasted a mere hour and 32 minutes, Zhu overcame Azarenka 6-3, 6-3 to seal off her place in the third round. Zhu faced three break-points but a better mental fortitude from her ensured she didn’t allow Azarenka to break her serve even as she overcame her opponent’s serve on three occasions.
Azarenka was broken twice in the first set after she had faced 10 break-points in it, and then once again in the second. It wasn’t until Zhu was serving for the match that she faced three break-points but after frittering away a match-point in that very game, she sealed off her win.
Can she now put up a fighting show against Bencic too with Zhu starting a distant 23/10 (with bet365) to win this.
