Last month she recorded her best every showing at a Grand Slam by reaching the fourth round of the French Open before losing to the Argentine Nadia Podroska.

Since then she qualified for the Ostrava Open on home soil and beat compatriot Tereza Martincova in the first round before losing to Victoria Azarenka in the second. French Qualifier Tan Hopes to Make it Big

Although Tan normally plays on the junior tours, she was given a wildcard into the French Open, where she was beaten in the first round by Daria Kasatkina. of Russia in straight sets.

Since then she lost in the first round of the ITF event in Cherbourg, and again in the second round of the following event in Reims.

She has had to come through two rounds of qualifying to make the main draw in Linz. First she beat Kamilia Rakhimova of Russia in straight sets, dropping just four games in the process.

She then had a stroke of luck when her opponent in her next match, Jaqueline Cristea of Romania was forced to retire in the first set. Tan was leading 4 -1 at the time.

Krejcikova v Tan Prediction and Tip

This should be a win for the Czech woman Krejcikova against an opponent not used to playing at this level. However, the unfamiliarity of her opponent is typically a cause for a slow start and we might see a few games in the first set.
