Federico Delbonis v Facundo Bagnis Head to Head
There has been a history of matches between Delbonis and Bagnis, including the most recent one at the Cordoba Open in the round of 16. Bagnis had won that one in straight sets.
Overall, however, spread across ATP and Challengers, the pair has been involved in seven previous matches and Delbonis leads 4-3.

Delbonis Goes One Better Than in 2020
Delbonis was a quarterfinalist at this event in 2020 and he has gone one better now. And he did so by defeating the 17-year-old Dane, Holger VitusNodskov Rune in his previous round, winning in straight sets.
After wins Jaume Munar and Alejandro Martin in the first two rounds, Delbonis registered a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Rune in the last eight.
In a match that lasted for just over an hour, Delbonis won a straightforward first set by breaking Rune in the sixth game and then holding serve for the rest of the set. The second set saw Rune give himself a chance when he broke Delbonis back in the fourth game to make it 2-2 but the in-form Argentine got back a break of serve in the seventh game.
He followed it up with another break in the ninth to wrap up the encounter.

Bagnis Continues to Surprise
He has played three matches so far and each time gone into the encounter as the second favourite behind his opponent. And yet, Bagnis has gone on to carve out the victory.
After edging out Marco Cecchinato in the first round and then needing two tie-breakers against Frances Tiafoe in the second, Bagnis overcame a first set loss to Laslo Djere to complete a three-set victory over his Serbian opponent.
Playing against an opponent ranked nearly 60 places above him, Bagnis fought hard in the first set but lost it to one break of serve. He bounced back to dish out a similar treatment to his opponent in the second set with one break in the sixth game and then upped his game to go 4-2 up in the final set.
And then as Djere served to stay in the set, Bagnis broke the Serb to finish off the encounter and seal his second semifinal berth in three tournaments. He had earlier made it as far as the last four at the Cordoba Open as well.
