James Duckworth moved into the third round of a major for the first time in his career, as the 29-year-old stunned the 2017 Wimbledon semifinalist and two-time quarterfinalist Sam Querrey in the second round on Thursday.

Making 44 winners to just 19 unforced errors, the World No. 91 won 7-5, 6-7 (4-7), 6-3, 6-2 in two hours and 20 minutes. Duckworth broke Querrey’s serve on five occasions while saving seven of eight break points that he faced against the American.
