Despite winning her opening round match with the kind of ease one would have expected out of Garcia when she was ranked fourth in the world, there are still worries around her form over the past couple of seasons or so.

Sharma Makes Two Comeback Wins in a Row
It had needed Sharma to come back from a set down in her qualifier to win the match and qualify for the main draw. And she repeated that dose in her opener too.
The Australian registered a three-set win over Kristyna Pliskova, needing an hour and 50 minutes to enter the second round.
Broken twice in the first set, Sharma came back to take a 3-2 lead with a break of serve in the second but dropped her serve the very next game. A fighting battle went into the tie-breaker which Sharma won 7-4 before racing through the final set with two breaks of serves that took her home.
This was her first main draw victory since Sharma opened her WTA title count in Charleston in April. Can she now make it two in two?

Garcia has shown some vulnerability in the past but Sharma might have the arsenal to test the Frenchwoman. Expect a victory for Garcia, even if it’s not the most straightforward one.
