Veronika Kudermetova v Oksana Selekhmetova Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before This will be the first match between the Kudermetova, who is 24, and Selekhmetova, who is six years younger.

Kudermetova has enjoyed a successful season, reaching her first ATA final in Abu Dhabi, losing eventually to Arnya Sabalenka, and then going on to win her maiden title in Charleston.

She was then picked to play in the Olympics, but was beaten in the opening round.
Results since then have been mixed although she reach the third round in Chicago, before losing to Elena Rybakina.
She was last in action in Indian Wells, where she beat compatriot Ludmila Samsonova, before losing to Iga Świątek.

Teenage Qualifier Selekhmetova
Selekhmetova had a highly successful junior career, winning the 2019 US Open and this year’s French Open, both in doubles, and she was a beaten finalist at Wimbledon in the same event in 2019.
She is still making her way on the ITF tour, where she has been in two finals so far this year, winning in Monacon, Spain in February, and finishing runner-up in tournament in France three months ago.
This will be her debut on the WTA tour and she has reached the main draw in Moscow after winning two matches in qualifying.
First she beat Arina Rodionova of Australia, a woman ranked 78 places higher than her in the world in three sets. And then she beat another Russian teenager in the form of Diana Shnaider.
Kudermetova v Selekhmetova Prediction and Tip
Selekhmetova is making her main tour debut, and there is little evidence that she has the ability at this stage of her career to cause an upset by beating Kudermetova.
