Filip Krajinovic v Marton Fucsovics Head to Head

Krajinovic and Fucsovics played three times so far with all of the matches happening quite a while ago. The last match was played in Cincinnati two years ago and Krajinovic won it 6-2 6-1. He also won the previous two but they were more competitive.

Krajinovic Picking up Form in Montepellier

Filip Krajinovic arrived in Montepellier in desperate need of some matches and wins and he found it. He played pretty solid tennis overall taking down Alexei Popyrin and then Damir Dzumhur. The Serbian did not play exceptionally well but he got used to the indoor conditions and that should suit him in Rotterdam.

Krajinvoic is a very good indoor player. He has a precise first serve and a solid all-round game to win matches on the surface. His best-ever tennis result came at the Paris Masters where he reached the final. He is far away from that form but solid showings in events like Rotterdam will help him get back some form.

Against Fucsovics it will be tough but he never lost to him proving that the matchup favours him. In the current circumstances, it seems like he will be glad to face him again.

Abysmal Start to the Year for Fucsovics

Marton Fucsovics is a very strong tennis player yet his form lately has been more than disappointing. The Hungarian’s came is built around a strong first serve that determines how the match will go most of the time. If it works he will be strong, if it doesn’t he becomes very vulnerable.

He played four matches this year and won only one and that was in Adelaide against Van de Zandschulp. After that, it’s been two very disappointing losses for the Hungarian. Events going back indoors should be a good sign for Fucsovics who has played some of his best tennis in conditions such as those. He is a very good player indoors and Rotterdam is no stranger to him.

With the current form, he won’t be considered the favourite against Krajivnoci, especially with the H2H score favouring the Serbian but his chances will be a lot higher indoors than on any other surface. He should fancy his chances but it will depend on his level.

Krajinovic v Fucsovics Prediction and Tip

As most indoor matches this too will be a very close one. Fucsovics is strong enough to keep this a close affair but it’s unlikely he will be able to win this matchup simply because history tells us Krajinovic has his number. They played three times so far and Krajinovic won all those matches. The latest one was a thrashing in Cincinnati 6-2 6-1.

They played on several surfaces and each time Krajinovic was better. His current form is better than that of Fucsovics who hasn’t played in a couple of weeks so expect him to be rusty as well. Considering all of that, it’s simply too much in favour of Krajinvoic.

The only thing that might be in play is fatigue after playing the week before in Montpellier. If he is feeling well enough he should have enough to win this. However, it might be a close match so the over on games is to be considered as well.

Tip: Krajinovic to win AND over 19.5 games: 6/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
