Ons Jabeur v Danielle Collins Head to Head

World No. 10 Ons Jabeur needed just an hour to demolish World No. 61 Kaia Kanepi of Estonia in the third round of the Miami Open.
With the win the Tunisian has now matched her previous best in Miami — a fourth round appearance last year.
This year, Jabeur has looked a bit edgy, exiting the quarterfinals in Sydney, Dubai and Qatar and the second round in Indian Wells. But she has looked good in her first two matches in Miami. Can she go deep in the tournament?
She definitely showed signs of that happening against Kanepi. Both exchanged a break in the first four games of the match, but Jabeur took charge from there on. Such was her dominance that she won 10 games in a row to finish the match 6-3, 6-0.
Jabeur was challenged by Poland’s Magda Linette in the second round, having to fight for the first set, before easing to a 7-6 (7-1), 6-2 victory. Jabeur had saved 12 of 13 break points in that match against the World no. 63.
With the win, the eighth seed is now 8-4 for the season and could be looking for a longer stay in Miami.

Collins Continues Her March
Australian Open finalist Danielle collins continued her march in the tournament with a straight sets win over Vera Zvonareva in the third round.
The 2018 Miami Open semifinalist had a tough start to the tournament, defeating Hungary’s Anna Bondár 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 in the second round. But it was a much more comfortable win for the American in the third round as she knocked out Zvonareva 6-1, 6-4.
Collins, who has been hampered by injury and viral infection since her defeat to Ashleigh Barty in the Australian Open final, looked in her elements against Zvonareva. She broke the 117h-ranked player twice in each set while getting broken once in the second set.
The 28-year-old is now 8-2 for the season and faces her biggest test since the injury concerns on Monday.
