Kamil Majchrzak v Mirza Basic Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, on the Challenger tour in 2015 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Basic winning in straight sets.

Majchrzak arrives in Morocco at a career high ranking, despite the fact that all his tournament successes have come on the junior tours.
His career record includes two Challenger titles on clay at that level, although he lost his most recent final in Szczecin in Poland last September.
The Polish number two’s best performance came this year in Pune in February when he reached the semi-finals – although the weakened field that entered that event needs to be taken into account.
Since then he has not got beyond the second round of any tournament, the stage that he reached in both Indian Wells and Phoenix.
Still it is a pleasant novelty for him not to have to qualify in Casablanca.

Basic Produces Surprise in Qualifying
Basic is the second Bosnian to find himself in the main draw in Marrakesh, after compatriot Damir Dzumhur, the man he plays Davis Cup with, and in whose footsteps, he followed in 2016, when he reached the first round of a Grand Slam for the first time in Melbourne.
These days though, he is more often found on the Challenger tour, where he has appeared in five finals, all of them on hard courts, but none since 2017.
There was little in terms of recent form that suggested he was capable of making any progress in Casablanca. But he produced a big surprise in qualifying by beating the Swedish number one, Mikael Ymer, a finalist at Winston Salem last year, clinching the match in a third set tie-break.
He then was able to ease past Gian Marco Moroni of Italy, the world number 182, in straight sets.
Majchrzak v Basic Prediction and Tip
Basic may have won their one previous match, but that was a long time ago, and the two are at vastly different stages in their tennis careers right now. The Pole should make the second round without too much difficulty.
