Grigor Dimitrov v Nikoloz Basilashvili Head to Head

Basilashvili Searching For Form
Basilashvili has not scored a win since February on the ATP circuit, he did reach the second round of Indian Wells but was gifted a walkover in his opening round by Fognini before losing to Norrie in 3-sets.
Miami witnessed an opening round defeat to Brooksby losing comfortably 6-3 6-1 despite being the 18th seed.
In fact, this year has not been good for the Georgian currently possessing a 4/10 Win/Loss ratio. Three of these wins came at his standout performance of the week in Doha where he made the final.

A tough match for both players as they face each other in the first Masters 1000 event of the year on clay. With just 8 places between them in the rankings, there is little to separate the two players.
Basilashvili comes in as the 15th seed, whereas Dimitrov is not seeded, which he has paid the price for as he now as to face a seed in the first round.
