Katerina Siniakova v Ana Bogdan Head to Head

They played once before and Bogdan won that match in two sets.

Solid Form for Siniakova

Katerina Siniakova is a very polarizing player because the Czech player has a lot of talent in her tennis but consistency is such a big problem for her.

At times she simply plays a fabulous match beating a player that is far better ranked than her but then she will lose to some other lower-ranked player. Her speciality is the doubles where she dominated with Krejcikova for a few years but she can play very strong singles tennis as well.

Her body is quite fragile overall and she often has to deal with fatigue and injuries which makes it even harder for her to find the right level of consistency.

Her playstyle is attacking and she hits a lot of winners and errors as well. 12-14 so far on the year could be better but it’s not too far off from her typical seasons.

Another Win for Bogdan

Ana Bogdan has dropped on the rankings overall but she’s actually playing a really good season overall. The record is 19-11 with 9-6 on clay and lately, it’s been really good on the red dirt.

Bogdan was unfortunate to play Sara Sorribes Tormo in Palermo but the Spaniard barely beat her because she is just playing very good tennis overall. The confidence is there, the level is there and she showed that in her round one win over Parrizas-Diaz.

The Spaniard is no pushover on clay but the Romanian was rather comfortable in that match never looking out of place. She plays a pretty smart brand of tennis. There is variety in there and he is not afraid of the long rallies which should suit her well against Siniakova.

Her form has been trending upward and perhaps this event is the one where she will finally string together a couple of good wins.

Siniakova v Bogdan Prediction and Tip

I genuinely think Siniako has more natural talent for tennis overall but Bogdan has been far more consistent this year and showed more recently.

I think the Romanian has the game to beat her opponent and I think she will. I really like Siniakova but I think she will stumble here.

Tip: Bogdan to win in three sets: 3/1 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
