Reilly Opelka v Nick Kyrgios Head to Head
There have been two previous matches between these two players with Opelka having won both.
The first came at the Toronto Masters last year in which Opelka needed three sets to get past Kyrgios before defeating him on the clay court of Houston earlier this year.

Denis Kudla has a solid serving game and it came out in full force against Opelka in the second round before the latter came through to reach the round of 16.
Opelka overcame an opening set deficit to out-serve Kudla in two hours and seven minutes, winning 6-7 (6), 6-4, 6-4. He served 28 aces and while Opelka was broken once in the encounter, the three breaks of serves he earned himself were more than enough to see him through.
What Opelka will now hope is record a win against a much stronger Nick Kyrgios, having struggled to get going in recent times himself.
He had crashed out in the second round at Wimbledon, while losing his openers at French Open, Queen’s Club and Eastbourne respectively. Before that, there were first round defeats in Munich, Madrid and Rome as well for Opelka.

Kyrgios Continues to Wow Audiences
He had pulled out of the Atlanta Open last week because of some fitness concerns but Kyrgios is now fully fit and that’s been on display in this tournament again. Both, his fitness and the form that had seen him make it to the Wimbledon final earlier this year.
After dropping five games against Marcos Giron in the first round, Kyrgios came through 6-3, 6-4 in the second round against Tommy Paul to seal the third round place of a tournament he has won once before.
Kyrgios was on court for an hour and 27 minutes and slammed 15 aces en route his win. Such was the power of his serving that Paul failed to capitalise on any of the four break-point chances he got even as Kyrgios broke him three times.
The Aussie will come into this one against Opelka with a lot of confidence to usurp a player ranked 46 places ahead of him.
