Caroline Garcia v Petra Martic Head to Head
Garcia leads 3-1 at the moment with Martic; however, she did lose their most recent encounter in the 2022 Lausanne Open semifinal in three sets.

Petra Martic is set to compete in her first hard-court tournament since the Miami Open in March. Understandably, she is a bit rusty but has a chance to prove herself again.
She began as a qualifier in Cincinnati but lost to Anhelina Kalinina in the final round. However, the lucky loser rule got her a ticket to the main draw.

Caroline Garcia started the season outside the top 70, but now, she is ranked No. 35 and looks poised to go further up.
What helped her through has been her consistency on all three turfs – she won the titles in Bad Homburg and Warsaw and reached the semifinal in Lausanne and Lyon. She also conquered the French Open doubles with Kristina Mladenovic.
That said, not everything has gone quite according to plan for the 28-year-old Frenchwoman as she endured a shock defeat to Alize Cornet in Toronto last week.
This week, Garcia began as a qualifier and found herself in three-setters with Diane Parry and Andrea Petkovic. Perhaps, she is also getting used to the change in courts, but her superior doubles experience and pedigree should make the transition easier.
