Alex de Minaur v Felix Auger-Aliassime Head to Head
The pair have never played each other before. This will be the first match between the 23 year-old Australian, and the Canadian, who is two years younger.

De Minaur already a winner on the North American hard court swing this season in Atlanta, breezed into the second round in Cincinnati with a very easy win over the Swiss qualifier, Henri Laaksonen, the world number 102.
The Australian seized control of the match with an early break in the first set, and, although the Swiss player saved six further break points in his next service game, the pressure told in the end, and he dropped his serve once more, as de Minaur forged ahead.
And another early break in the second set, put de Minaur well on the way to victory, with another break serving to underline his dominance.
The match was finished in a little over an hour.

Auger-Aliassime Licking His Wounds
Augur-Aliassime enjoyed a first round bye in Cincinnati courtesy of his seeding, but he is still metaphorically licking his wounds after what happened to him in Montreal last week.
There, chasing his first Masters’ title in front of his home fans, he was thrashed by Casper Ruud in straight sets in their quarter-final, winning just three games off the Norwegian.
He would have spent the past week reflecting on that match and will now be looking to bounce back in Cincinnati, where he also made the last eight in 2021.
A good run this week will help erase last week’s memories.
De Minaur v Auger-Aliassime Prediction and Tip
This should be a good match-up between the two men, but Augur-Aliassime has had the advantage of extra rest, and may have added motivation to do well after what happened to him in Montreal. He will start favourite to make the third round.
