Stefanos Tsitsipas v Diego Schwartzman Head to Head

Tsitsipas, who had an opening bye, came through 6-3, 6-4 against Filip Krajinovic in the second round in a match lasting a mere 70 minutes.
Blasting 14 aces in the encounter, Tsitsipas did not face a single break-point whole overcoming his opponent’s serve once apiece in both sets. Overall, Tsitsipas lost a mere eight points on his own serve in the entire match.
Coming up against Schwartzman, who has been in some sort of trouble of his own, Tsitsipas would like to believe he has a better chance but his record against the Argentine on hard courts is a question-mark.

Schwartzman Scrapes Past Karatsev
There was nothing to choose between Schwartzman and his second round opponent as far as a bookmaker’s favourite is concerned, and that is how the match went as well.
In the end, it was Schwartzman who came through in three sets, winning 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-2 to seal his third round berth in Cincinnati for the third successive time.
With the match lasting nearly three hours, both players broke the other four times in the encounter and it was only the first set tie-breaker that separated the duo. Schwartzman dropped just three points in it.
Schwartzman was coming off a first round win against Alex Molcan, in another match that had lasted three sets and had been ousted in the second round at Montreal last week.
Against Tsitsipas, he knows he has a solid record on hard court but with his own form the way it is, Schwartzman will have a struggle on his hands.
