Aryna Sabalenka v Karolina Pliskova

Aryna Sabalenka and Karolina Pliskova played four times so far and the score is tied at 2-2. Sabalenka won the first two matches they played a couple of years ago with the two latest going to Pliskova. Both of those that Pliskova won happened last year. One was on grass, the other on hard courts

They both played well so far at this event as well with both showings of exceptional ball-striking ability. They are aggressive players by nature with strong serves and both were fairly consistent in their play. It’s a tricky one to call because they are really similar players in similar forms.

The surface suits both well but Sabaelnka has had a better season overall. Some of that is due to Pliskova missing a good chunk of it due to injury there is very little separating them. As it usually happens in situations like those, a close encounter should be expected.

Tough to call who will win but three sets should be likely.

Tip: Three sets in the match: 5/4 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Iga Swiatek v Jessica Pegula

Iga Swiatek has been the best player overall this year although her form is nowhere near her level earlier in the year. Jessica Pegula has been one of the most consistent players all year long with similar form throughout the year. The American has a chance to make the semi-final and it’s a real chance because Swiatek is vulnerable.

The H2H favours the Polish player 2-1 as she won both matches this year. The first one was in Miami where Swiatek proved better 6-2 7-5 in the semi-final. The second one was at Roland Garros with Swiatek proving better 6-2 6-3 in the quarter-final.

Both losses were painful for Pegula and she will have no shortage of motivation to avenge them. She could do it but she will need her best. She is aggressive and can attack Swiatek similarly to how Jule Niemeier did. It’s a solid blueprint to beat her but you need a complete effort.

I think it could get interesting but Swiatek is still expected to prevail.

Tip: Swiatek to win: 2/5 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)

Carlos Alcaraz v Jannik Sinner

Another banger awaits us when Alcaraz takes on Sinner. The two biggest young tennis talents will face each other for the 3rd time this year and it should be a good one. All of their matches were amazing and interestingly, Sinner won both.

One was at Wimbledon and Sinner won that in impressive fashion while his Umag comeback win in the final is another superb match. Both are you, both like to attack, and both are projected to be a force in the future. There are some differences though as Alcaraz has a far more accomplished career so far thanks to an incredible year.

Sinner has proven it over a longer period of time but a place in the semi-final should be a motivator for both. It’s to call what might happen as many expect Alcaraz to win but I would not overlook Sinner. After all, he beat him twice this year.

He could win the match but the safer play is he’ll win a set.

Tip: Sinner to win a set – Yes: 1/2 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
