Kwon Falls Short At Davis Cup

Soonwoo Kwon came up short in the Davis Cup Group Qualifiers as South Korea were knocked out in a group featuring Spain and Canada.

Earlier during the ties, South Korea took a shock lead when their top-ranked player Kwon scored an upset win over Felix Auger-Aliassime.

But subsequent defeats  to the likes of Serbia and Spain have thrown their bid towards the qualification out of the door. Considerin just how Kwon’s season has panned out this year, having been on and off in terms of results, that victory over Auger-Aliassime might kickstart his campaign proper.

And there is certainly no better way to make an introduction than on home soil.
