Tallon Griekspoor v Alexander Bublik Head to Head
The pair have played each other twice before, Bublik winning on both occasions. His first victory came in a Davis Cup qualifier in 2020, and his second earlier this year in Montpellier, where Bublik went on to win the tournament.

Having won eight titles on the Challenger circuit last year, Griekspoor has found the step-up to the main tour altogether a tougher proposition.
He did reach the quarter final of the Summer Set in Melbourne back in January, but was unable to play his scheduled match with Rafael Nadal due to injury.
The Dutch number two would have to wait until May and the clay of Geneva, before he made the last eight again, and then reached the same stage on grass in Mallorca a month later.
He did rediscover the winning feeling back on the Challenger tour on home soil in July, but his last match in Tel Aviv resulted in a first round defeat to the Canadian Vasek Pospisil.

Local Hero Bublik Returns to His Adopted Home
It is a case of the local hero returning home for Bublik, who adopted Kazakh citizenship six years ago.
Certainly before Elena Rybakina won Wimbledon this year, he was the most successful player to have represented Kazakhstan, having reached seven senior finals.
He ended a sequence of four successive final defeats by winning in Montpellier in February.
However, in the two finals that ensued, he again finished on the losing side, beaten by Maxime Cressy on the grass of the Hall of Fame Open, and losing to Lorenzo Sonego at the Moselle Open last month.
This will be his first match since that defeat to Sonego.
Griekspoor v Bublik Prediction and Tip
There will be huge local expectations for Bublik ahead of this match, and he should not disappoint by making a winning start against a player whom he has beaten twice previously and who has yet to reproduce his Challenger form on the main tour.
